The Jaipur-based QSR chain Nothing Before Coffee raised 19 crore in funding in a pre-series A funding round. This round was led by Prath Ventures, with the participation of SYL Investments, Warmup Ventures, and Mars Shot Ventures.

In 2017, Ankesh Jain, Akshay Kedia, Shubham Bhandari, and Anand Jain formed the company. Today, Nothing Before Coffee has 85+ outlets in 35 major cities of India, including Indore, New Delhi, Jaipur, Udaipur, Bangalore, Pune, and more.

The newly raised funds will be used to boost the expansion of the outlets in more cities. The aim is to set up to 150 retail outlets, primarily focusing on the Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities by March 2026. Also exploring more options like compact kiosks and other new store formats that will attract a larger audience.

Piyush Goenka, the founder and Managing Partner at Prath Ventures, showed confidence in NBC by saying, “NBC is an aspirational yet affordable coffee brand with a strong pan-India footprint — especially in Rajasthan. The brand captures the growing “go-out” culture across Bharat and resonates deeply with young desi consumers.”
