Venugopal Lambu returns to LTIMindtree as their new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the next five years. LTIMindtree is India’s sixth largest IT services company. Lambu will be replacing Debashis Chatterjee, who was leading as CEO for the last three years.
A Familiar Face Returns
Venugopal Lambu served as President and Executive Director at Mindtree Ltd in 2020. He even continued his role after the merger with Larson and Toubro Infotech in 2022. Later, in January 2023, he left the company and joined Randstad Digital as their CEO. Randstad Digital is a Netherlands-based digital meeting company. His expertise in the IT sector and previous experience with the company can drive growth and innovation.

Debashis Chatterjee or DC, as known in the industry circles, was appointed CEO in 2022 after the merger with L&T Infotech. He pivoted the company through the integration process and established the corporate culture as a whole. As his tenure comes to an end, the company is making sure the transition is smooth to the successor. Lambu and Chatterjee also worked together at Cognizant Technology Solutions before crossing paths again at LTIMindtree.
